Job Description

We are seeking a driven, proactive and responsible Professional Services Supervisor for our operations in Ljubljana, Slovenia, willing to grow in the dynamic and ever-changing IT Sector and ensure smooth operations in the Professional Services department, highly engaged team, on-quality and on-time support services to exceed our customer expectations, bringing analytical thinking, exceptional problem-solving amp; agility and passion for technology amp; innovation.
Responsibilities
- Daily supervising a small team of SW Engineers to design, develop, test, document, and deploy SW solutions in an efficient manner.
- Responsible for managing all customer SW related requests and assessing the quality of support provided, according to the company quality standards and systems programming standards.
- Supports other team members in their daily development tasks, by providing guidance and resolving possible conflicts.
- Planning, directing and controlling the software development amp; support process.
- Being responsible for defining the SW solutions development methodologies amp; practices.
- Working with vendors and other architects in order to select appropriate technologies and solutions so as to produce appropriate technical architectures for customer needs.
- Interacting with customers, sales colleagues and partners in order to translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
- Planning and monitoring the implementation of SW deliverables within agreed time and cost.
- Managing project objectives, control changes, involving all relevant stakeholders and Serves as a client-facing contact for all aspects of the projects, facilitating customer requests and acceptances.
- Project Management for SW implementation projects - developing and monitoring project plans to track and follow-up project progress with internal amp; external stakeholders.
- Contributing to continuous release planning process and deliverables, ensuring adherence to guidelines.
- Documenting and regulary communicating project status, obstacles and resolutions to the management.
Requirements
- Bachelor/University Degree in Computer Science or related field. MSc in Computer Science or similar is considered as a plus.
- 8+ working experience in SW Developing companies.
- Experience in leading teams of SW Engineers.
- Experience in implementing and supporting web-based applications based on .NET environment (C#) and Microsoft technologies.
- Experience in System integration and overview of SW Architecture.
- Knowledge of high-level Financial sector business concepts.
- Desired experience with Banking technologies, transactions processing and applications for self-service equipment.
- Business orientation, dedication to meet expectations and requirements of clients, dedication for continuous learning.
- Project Management skills (i.e. PMP, PRINCE2 will be considered as an asset).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in international, multi-cultural organizations in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluency in English and local language.
- Business acumen dedicated to meet the expectations and requirements of customers.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Programming knowledge will be considered an advantage.
